Okay, let's talk about something kind of fucked up.  Every year, the travel section of the Times posts a list of places to go that year, all over the world. Now. I am a HUGE fan of the New York Times. But this year's number one place to go in 2010 is motherfucking SRI LANKA.

No one is nearly as pissed about this as MIA, as in the singer, who posted

yikes. Sometimes I'm happy to be an American, but when prominent journalism behaves this way, I'm not so impressed anymore. I thought it was a little patronizing how they likened the island to a zoo because they have elephants that aren't held in captivity.

The American media is never anything to be proud of, but this is ridiculous... like... Sri Lanka? Really? And if you think a slip up like this at the New York Times is bad, tune in to FOX News any day of the week and die a little inside with the amount of hate and lies they're spewing. It's absurd.
