My first love, Jimmi Hendricks, (that was his name, I kid you not) was Holden Caulfield. I never really thought about it, but thanks for reminding me. It reminds me very much of being 15 again. I think I relate more to Franny and Zooey than Catcher in the Rye. Both are great books, though.

I haven't read F and Z. I hold Catcher in the Rye in such high regard, that it never occured to me to read anything else. It probably doesn't make sense, because if he's a good author, he writes good books, right? well, anyway, I guess I just kind of thought that he had just this one really good book. Kind of like Harper Lee and To Kill a Mockingbird.

A funny story there is that I heard an interesting story that Harper Lee didn't actually write TKAMb, but Truman Capote did. I don't know if I believe it, but it sure is intresting. I'll tell you when I get the chance.

Aww..I'm rereading Catcher in the Rye at this very moment, and I had kinda forgotten about it because of finals and whatnot. Thanks for reminding me! God, I love how it's written.

I love how it's written too. It's like no other style, and it goes by fast. The first time I read it, it took me like two days.
