oh man I have a pair of doc marten boots too, but they're still at my parents house. I might get them shipped up before halloween and their costume potential had never occurred to me. maybe I will be ani difranco. HAH.

mine are kind of tall for me. they have like 13 or 14 eyelets.
if neither of us wear them for Halloween, maybe we should get together at eachother's house s and try and put outfits together that incorporate them... or sell them both on ebay and blow the $$$ on shoes that we both actually would wear/beer.

mine are the standard ankle size. I don't know if I can bear to sell them even if I never wear them...they're too sentimental/funny/practical for when it's cold and rainy out. and maybe someday they'll come back in style haha.

oh no, yours actually make sense. the shorter ankle-y ones are totally wearable. I think they can be really cute, as well as incredibly convenient (I am assuming. I need rainboots... badly.) mine make me look like kind of hxc and I'm a little like, Hi I wear clothes from Old Navy.
