Stirring the metling pot

Yesterday at lunch I was in New Scotland in a town with an English name at a French university eating a samosa and a side of spaetzle listening to Yiddish klezmer music with a Lebanese woman, a French woman, an Algerian man and an Acadian woman, and it occurred to me that all that rhetoric about multiculturalism might actually be true.

And you're listening to a Somalian dude who moved to Toronto, is managed by a Caribbean-Canadian dude, and is only famous in the States, because he released a hit single sampling a Chicago rapper and rapping about racist treatment oustide a club in Sweden.

Not only has Canada gone international, but international has gone Canadian. St Malo is currently lousy with Canadians! LOUSY I SAY!!
