Pokemon -- they're animals with special abilities, and they probably look different than the animals you're used to. Most of them can change form over the course of their lives, too, that's called "evolution".

Pikachu is here, he's a Pokemon. He looks like a yellow mouse with long ears and a zig-zag tail -- have you met him yet?

Some of them are nice, but some of them are very aggressive. It depends on what kind of Pokemon it is, and they have their own personalities like people, too.
