the first thing that came to mind was no child left behind... you could do something about mcas...
avoiding teaching for the test but still preparing students yadda yadda...

Hey! I was thinking about going that route. I wrote a paper about the MCAS last year basically about how it's flawed and doesn't really help the people who need help. But I wouldn't want to get too political or controversial. I was also thinking about after school enrichment programs, but that wouldn't really affect my teaching.

i think you could do it without getting too controversial.. youd just have to focus on your teaching style rather than the flaws of the test. annnd enrichment programs wouldn't necessarily effect your teaching directly, but it would effect your students, who definitely effect your teaching.. that would be a more positive route. ohhhh job applications. i saw practice MTEL books at borders the other day and thought of you!!
