As a real geek I read many many many books by now. But I somehow avoid watching movies/TV shows after I read a book that was based on it. Even when I was a little girl, books were a way for me to run to some other, secret, fun, imaginative world. As you just poined out; we're very very alike, with the whole imagening in books. There was a time I read books like a maniac, when I walked home from school{and at that time I had 500metres to school}..when taking a bath{still do}..yeah, anywhere. I tend to watch the movie anyway, even though it often is worse :(

I like 'The Notebook' the film, better than the book but that might be because I saw the film first.

I just finished a book today, reading half of it :P It wasn't very long though.. It's rare that I do read books in my sparetime, but when I do, I really enjoy it! Since I've just finished "The boy in the striped pyjamas" (which I highly recommend!) I can now go on with reading Death du jour! YAY!

One of the only books I've read, that's been turned into a movie, is Harry Potter. And there I totally agree with you, Nina. It wasn't as I had imagined it in my head.

Hahahaha

I can't read Harry Potter. I tried. I really really tried. And got bored before 20th page. The movie was even worse. I went to see it with my sister. And I fell asleep...
