There is a very funny song by Julie Brown called "Cause I'm a Blonde". I used to hear it from time to time on the Dr. Demento radio show. In the song, she spells it B-L-O-N-D (which I thought was a mispelling, but I stand corrected!) and later B-L-I-N-D (which is definitely a mispelling). She does this intentionally for the humor of the song. You may have also heard of Julie Brown (not to be confused with "Downtown" Julie Brown) from another fairly well-known song that she sang called "The Homecoming Queen's Got a Gun".
I think both songs were recorded in the 80's.
