nooo, dammit, you can't say shit like that, now you've thrown me back into the realm of doubt. i really like the whole katrina as a pro thing. the thing about her is she's hard to place as an actress. as in, she doesn't. act, i mean. and yet she's gotten to the kind of rank she has in the industry (even though going by koffee, nobody in the industry thinks she can act, lmao). and i know people go on about her dancing but i find her so incredibly stiff. she's learned, but she still does not look natural at all and i don't like her style either. it's not at all comfortable or enjoyable watching her dance. whereas someone like gauhar khan - i've got ishaqzaade saved on my computer, and i love the movie but i constantly break out her dance numbers just because i love watching her dance

hahaha, but that is definitely my headcanon for them, that they'd have this really sorted relationship, far away from the emotional messiness of ranbir/deepika. and i completely agree on kat's acting abilities or a severe lack thereof. (as does everyone on koffee, it is always amusing to me). AND YET she's one of the most popular, most sought after actresses and apparently gets paid a hell lot. but i think kat is also difficult to pin down as a person, like i have no idea what she's like, even persona-wise. i can reasonably judge most actors (whether correctly or not is, of course, open to contention) based on news about them or interviews etc., but she's a complete mystery. i have no idea what sort of a person would date both salman and ranbir, because even they seem to have nothing particularly in common, you know. she's just very hard to pin down, for me

yeah, i REALLY like this idea! of katrina being really together and not really needing him, and ranbir being into that. but you know, it had never occurred to me, to think of the ranbir-salman connection in that way. kat was with salman for AGES, and he's apparently a horrible boyfriend who gets violent and obsessive; he fucked ash up badly. ranbir is supposedly a manwhore who's also a totally cool guy. they're basically opposites! it's a much more interesting side to katrina than anything she's ever done on screen, lmao. i actually really loved her for a long time, from humko deewana kar gaye. i don't remember much about that movie except that i really liked it and thought she was really good, lol. she had that expressions thing going on that i really dig. but then it faded around race and then i became indifferent and now me and my friends grumble if she's cast in a movie because it's already ruined, lol
