I have written Katherine ONCE before and she is far too flawless for me to attempt usually, so I am so glad the characterization worked for you. I think Katherine is fascinating because we never really got to see her transition. We saw Katerina and we saw Katherine, but we never exactly saw HOW Katerina became Katherine. After all, there had to be a whole bunch of moments, not just one grand all-defining moment. And after all Katerina had to have something in her to choose survival over sacrifice.
