Ummm... OK, can't resist: You don't get comments or friend requests because your journal is so horribly designed I can about guarantee it is scaring the crap out of anyone who visits.

Seriously. I could feel the headache building as I tried to locate your entries. Which I'm still not sure I actually did, because I hit Level-One migraine within seconds. But frankly, if your spelling and punctuation is anywhere near as atrocious there as demonstrated here, I'm OK with missing out.

Take off the background graphics, remove about 95% of the photos (do NOT keep the animated ones), and you've made a decent start. Next, in their place, you might want to try writing something meaningful - and properly formatted! - about why you like the show, or some aspect of it. You know... something a potential friend can actually comment on.

Become active in the show's wider online community, visit a few popular fansites, and you'll have the idea.

Your journal receives no comments or friend requests because Blood Ties was canceled in 2008 and a year later no one cares to remember it. Your journal is leading a pitiful, meaningless existence running a defunct TV show as its flag. You might as well call the journal xfiles2002, it would inspire just as much remorse. You should delete this journal immediately and begin anew, perhaps find another flash-in-the-pan show on which to fixate. In the meantime, I suggest you create "bloodties2009" to coincide with the DVD release and milk the last bit of interest before the series is taken off syndication and your journal is relegated to oblivion for good.

This journal is poor idol worship with just enough personal effects to desecrate the forceful theme. Imagine a bedroom covered from wall to ceiling with Blood Ties graphics, not a stick of furniture, and a forsaken sock on the floor as the only clue that someone inhabits it. Who would want to visit?

1, for the menstrual cup rant on my birthday.
