that song used to be a staple of my mixed tapes, way back when. if i ever make you one i'll put it on there, even though you already have it. or did i already make you one? is that where you got it from? not that you couldn't have found it another way; it is a popular song sung by a popular artist.

(the other night i wasn't planning on confessing any sort of deep-seeded love. i just wanted to thank you for always being so supportive of me, for always encouraging me to seek out better things for myself. you were right when said you have what it takes to keep me motivated; you're one of the few people who actually says the things i need to hear. and even though we can't seem to maintain any real consistency in terms of our relationship, i think of you fondly always. it may not seem like much of an admission, but for me...it is. in case you haven't noticed, i'm not what you would call "in touch with my feelings". that's all.)
