So a thousand points to Cracker Barrel! Tonight we decided to go for dinner and in normal fashion I get breakfast. I felt like I was being a pain in the ass to the poor waitress and she thought she was being rude. I ordered The Sunrise sampler and french toast. and you know, the whole tipping thing when servers give you free food - it's a topic ripe for philosophical ponderance*. is it really appropriate to tip someone for essentially stealing food from the restaurant and giving it to you? i mean, i'm not accusing you of anything. because i've been in the same predicament,and tipped well. but then i always think about it afterward and whether or not it's morally just.
