Perscitia hates it when people don't value math and analysis, since clearly she is awesome, but her ability there is basically her only strength (she's very slow and clumsy, for a dragon, and has no special powers like Temeraire, Lien or Iskierka). Perscitia does realize the evidence does point towards Asari telling the truth about the paper thing - he does smell like it after all and she does vaguely know that a lot of worlds obviously don't work in the same way that hers does - the way that sane worlds work, obeying the laws of physics and all. But she thinks that's annoying too, and she's more than willing to project that annoyingness on Asari as well since he didn't want to use mathematical analysis in the more mundane parts of his life either. :P
