Life's been knocking me around a bit of late, so I haven't had a chance to do much writing. Fortunately, I got a breather, so was able to sit down with the latest bleach_contest entry.

This was so like them. Ichigo wanting to stay and fight, Renji calling him an idiot, them hanging out... Ichigo kissing Renji... :) I'm imagining what happens next. Don't mind me.

Thanks for this. I'm trying to get back into LJ and the comm (I sadly deserted it for awhile when I got busy), and this was a nice start.

I know all about desertion under fire. Started a new position at my job and I really was under fire for a couple of months. Was SO glad to be able to sit down and write this when I saw the prompt.

Glad you enjoyed it! It was the first thing that came to mind when I saw the prompt and just couldn't stop myself from working on it (and who wouldn't want to?). And you're not the only one imagining just exactly how ...memorable Renji made that little vacation. ;p

Who doesn't love dessert! XD I'm sure if I had to hang around with that tall, tattooed redhead all the time I'd be thinking about dessert, as well. I loved how Ichigo finally got the courage to act on it, and how fiercely Renji followed up, as I assume he would. Nicely done!

Dessert...YUM! Glad you enjoyed it. This was the first idea that jumped into my head when I heard the prompt. And you're right, Renji responded quite fiercely, didn't he. I'm sure Ichigo's gonna remember these few days for years to come.
