rantings on drama ratings drop - blame it on streaming sites!

it's really no secret that a lot of dramas suffer from low ratings, or at least, dramas nowadays don't reach the kind of rating that they could have achieved had they aired maybe 5-10 years ago. what's more disturbing is the fact that JE-starred dramas fail to rake in the expected viewership! i don't know what others may say, but i think tokujo

Aww cuz, i stopped looking at the ratings since last year... it was ridiculous to see a very low ratings for ALL drama's. #_#

And also, i think Japan's viewership is highly being affected by the other neighboring country dramas that are fast invading Japan (kdrama/cdrama/tdrama).. so we will never know, but what i do know is that I LOVE YAMANADE!!! <3

yes, sometimes it's easier to just look the other way when it comes to ratings. however, it's the ratings that determine if they're going to get more dramas in the coming seasons. i just fear that we'd get less JE-starred dramas in the future. T_T
