Ohh, the melancholy of the lonely fan! :D:D:D Hahaha
Same here, some of the fangirls that I know in my early days of fangirling is no longer active nor sadly around, ack those are the true circle of a fangirls life, some stays and some goes and move on and finds another love to fangirl and flail over on! :D
*hugs cuz coz i think you miss fangirling with other fangirl* <333
thank you for the hug! XD yes, fandom really evolves and goes on, no? but sometimes it also just makes me worried for the reason why fans are no longer fans or are now in other fandoms. is it the artists' fault? are they doing something that doesn't please the fans anymore?
yes, fangirling, to be really fun, needs to be shared with others deshou?
Hmmm, id like to view fangirling more like the same with clothing fashion, they comes and goes. XD
Like a love for a certain trend that is "IN" now and may not be in a later days, don't worry so much about them, for sure they are still a fan, though not so tenacious like before when they are all in the hype of things, and prolly yes that fans are just too expectant from the artists that causes their own disappointments. *shrugs*
Same thing with me and my idol Jin, if given all this things, i hate him now. but i am a fan and i am trying to understand him, i may not like what he is doing 100% but i am supporting him still to the best that i can do. :D
Yes, the true meaning of fangirling is to share the fun-ness of it! <3
hi, sorry for the random comment XD i got here from the je_philippines sales post (not that i'm really looking for the KT album but b/c your icon is so cute. ♥) i just felt like sharing b/c i'm feeling the same way, too. some people i knew are either not so much into the fandom anymore, or have moved to other fandoms. i think i'm also not the same fangirl as before. just like what you wrote, catching the headlines is enough. sometimes i wonder if i'm losing it.
but everytime i see another variety show episode, or another piece of news, or anything, idk, it's a different kind of spazz now. i don't know how to explain it, maybe it's like it just matured without me realizing it. XD
i also miss those people that i met through Arashi. some of them had been too busy irl (i don't blame them) it's just that.. i miss those almost monthly gatherings i used to go to before. :(
i sometimes wonder, too, if im losing it. and when i spend money on arashi, there's this small voice that asks if it is worth it. but you're absolutely right that when i get to watch an episode of their show or any concert, i realize that my fandom is still as strong as ever. yes, maybe it's because we had just matured over our fandom? somehow i can even say that we have become more 'serious' about the way we spazz over them. it's like we appreciate them in a deeper sense.
and finding another fan who understands somehow cheers me up!XD thank for writing that comment, it helps a lot. :)
