that's so cool! what are they? what class is that for? oh goodness. i'm so jealous! i wish we did stuff like that. but...no. we don't. :\ stupid mainland and their spending money on football instead of lab equipment.

they're japanese medaka fish embryos. i'm doing an embryological ethanotoxicity study (read: putting eyedroppers of alcohol into the containers of embryos to see if they die/become malformed) for science night. it's not all that interesting, but the cool part is i took those pictures by holding my camera phone over the lens of the microscope. god bless low-tech!
