how exactly does a sinus infection turn into bronchitus?
heather: *sits around with mom who smokes like an ashtray all day long*
sinus infection: *sniff sniff*
heather's chest: *starts itching*

heather: *cough cough hack cough hack wheeze hack*
bronchitus *waves, introduces self*

We wouldn't pass an FDA inspection on our way to be ground into people burgers.
Sinus infections turn into bronchitis from the nasal secretions that drip down yr throat. You then inhale these infected secretions. If a person smokes their cilia (you know that hair-like stuff in yr lungs that pushes crap up and out) are paralyzed, and can't sweep the infection out. Therefore, you have a respiratory infection!
Yay.
