When I first played that song, it reminded me of when I had a dial-up connection, then having to wait, and finally having the "failed connection" notice pop up. Then as I moved my cursor to hit the play button again, it was like hitting "retry" and going through the whole thing again.

actually the song is inspired from your very recollection among a couple other things such as text messaging on a phone, instant messaging online, email, and everything that can disconnect us from actual human contact. so the phone and connection sounds were necessary. i'm glad it brought those memories up, cause that was it's intent!

I wish that silly college kids who worked there had some sort of sway, because if so, you'd be in 'cause Tom & Joe would pull for you...but unfortunately, I doubt they have much influence.

would they pull for me just because you and i are friends? i mean that would be great and stuff, but i dunno. i talked to joe, he said he's going to listen to it and let me know what he thinks and tell me if he should hand it off to the guy that reviews demos or not. some pull would be awesome, but i'm not worried about it. it would just be an awesome oppurtunity, and if it doesn't work, life will go on.
