Mir nin,

Ah, paradox, humour, and change.
Words can point the way,
but the heart shines the truth.

Hesse is it's own thing.... I read a few of his books, Of all of them, absolutely my favorite was "The Glass Bead Game". (DAS GLASPERLENSPIEL, 1943 - (also: Magister Ludi) -)

Orodriel and I were talking yesterday about education. We were talking about the very thing, (in a humorous way) you mentioned above. Though we didn't get into the complexities of being of spirit and of being in flesh, we did discuss the "inaccuracies" - for the lack of a better word- with the system currently in place. We ended up listening to the song "Welcome to the Machine" by Pink Floyd. As it was here that we found and realized the controlling nature of the illusion we are living in this present day and age.

There's much more I'd like to write about in regards to your post. This is all I have time for at this moment.

Also, I just posted something as friends only and maybe you have to be mutual friends to be able to read it. Please try and friend me so you can read it because I believe you will appreciate what I wrote. Go under Journal on the top toolbar and then under friends and follow the directions. There are other ways to add friends but I don't remember right now.
