Autumn, and my symbol of Halloween

Oct 31, 2006 16:56

Just as trees flourish in autumn when leaves fall from their branches. I thrive when I am open to transformation of the Spirit. As I look at the new experiences life presents as opportunities to let God guide me to new discoveries. I acknowledge the spirit of God in each and every situation, I also acknowledge the possibilities of good for ( Read more... )

Court, you're not a liar, you were never one to say things just to sound a certain way, you've always spoken from your heart. I believe you if you say you have found a spirit guide.

And I'm gonna...write you a letter! Thought you might like a word from the northwest in tangible form. I'm in the process of writing it. In between moving into my new place of my OWN (YAY!) and family things I'm trying to write a little bit each night. So expect something coming your way. ^_^

*hugs* Always good to hear from you, and there's nothing wrong with passing along information using LJ.

Autumn has always been a time of rebirth and energy for me as well. May have something to do with being born in October, maybe not.

As for the spirit guide, that's wonderful. I truly believe in things such as that, and am happy that you have found yours.

I am also writing a letter!

Thank you as well! I look forward to both letters! I am not suprised that you all believe in Spirit Guides. Most of the people I know do....Although, what I consider to be a spirit guide differs a bit probably from most. But also, what I consider Spirit to guide us in and torwards is a view different than many.
Happy B-day. I'm sorry it belayded. I'll post oon you LJ page.

This post was pleasant and unexpected. Thanks for your letter. I plan to write back but I want to make sure I think a lot first because there is so much to say. I want to assure you though that I have faith that our communion and fellowship has not changed pretty much at all. It has changed as much as it did last time we saw each other and I was talking about where I was in my faith. Many of the things you have said are things that I also know and I hope to expound on that. You never cease to amaze me and be a living example of the possibilities that exist in human choice and sensitivity. Thanks for being yourself and seeking that which you must. Like with your letter mine may be a long time in coming but it will come.

Hugs.

It's great to get a post from you! I really look forward to getting your letter. I miss our conversations a lot. I find some people to talk to form time to time about metaphysical stuff. But our conversations are always ones that seem to stick with me. You have so much to share, I have this feeling of deep connection with you sister...I'm relieved to know that our relationship has not dwindled at all. I din't think it would, but you know how it can be sometimes. I can almost assure you that my next letter will be better written. Sorry about that one being so fragmented. It can be hartd to find time to write here. Your complements do me great honor. Thank you! You know that any posistive traits you precieve in me, are in you as well. For it takes one to know one:)

Sounds like you're having a fine time in Colorado. Nothing unreal exists, amazing how that gets lost sometimes. People try and define their universe into a smaller place, And the one with all creation, another item that is often misplaced. Blanca Peak man, it's a cool place, don't come in the RV way, trek across the scrub lands heading east, towards the rather strange western flanks.

Thank you for the post. I miss hanging with you Glenn...I hiked up Marble Mountain. It's part of the Sangre De Cristo mountains. Itone of the 14 thousanf feet mountains. There is a beautiful view at it's summit. There is also many caves riddled on the mountain. So with some verty fasinating stories. Anyways, I and couple of guys from Mission:Wolf wanted to explore the moutains. Once of the guys, whos 18 wanted to climb one of the mountains befor he leaves. So we chose Marble Mt. We ended up, because of the snow, wind and cold, just exporing the Mountain for the caves. We didn;'t find any, but we ended yp finding this awsome spot. It hasd little streem and a good open view surrounded by trees, grass and moss. We decided to stay the night. But we onlt had day packs. So we made our own little shelter out of fallen down trees, logs and branches and moss. We we made a bed out of pine-boughs, sof pine cones, and old dry needles. So that we could esulate our selves from the ground, wind and all the other elements. We then ( ... )

Marble Mountain and a bunch of caves, sounds very interesting. Very cool to hear your story about that trip. Camping at the spur of the moment with no gear, I can relate. Once me and 2 friends went to climb in the Gore range (kind of northeast of Vail) We hiked in 11 miles from the car and reached a technical ridge about 100 feet from the summit of Eagles nest. Unfortunately the sun was setting right then. We were in an unsafe area about 2200 feet above timberline and 11 miles from the car. I was wearing shorts for crying out loud. We managed to get down to the trees and around midnight we were at this lake. Oh yeah we had no flashlights either. It was insane. We also made a little fire but we didn't have the energy to do much more than lie down in the dirt and try to rest. First glimpse of light we were raging doen the remaining 8 miles to the car. Starving we were, That was the only time I've had a no gear camp. Definitely a fond memory that stands out. It would be excellent to do a Blanca expedition with you. Would have to be next ( ... )

The mountain night - wow. I hope Glenn does get to visit you in the not too distant future. (Spring maybe?)

For some of our clan, this is the beginning of the new year. For all of us, this is a beautiful time of gathering in (and/or growing thick fur, hee hee), singing, and sacred storytelling. Cuil vaer aen.
