Beatrice didn't mean to disappear for two weeks while a friend was in trouble. It was mostly an accident. She was collecting ingredients for Cimorene's fireproofing spell from the plothole, and... well, how often do you get to see what a tear in the fabric of reality looks like? Armand answers the door, then seeing who it is, he offers a brief smile, but instead of letting her in, he comes out into the hall. "They're still asleep," he explains quietly. "Is downstairs alright?"

To someone who hasn't seen him in weeks, Armand may seem a bit more careworn. He's a bit dishevelved but that's because he hadn't been ready to go out or recieve visitors. It's mostly that there is an air of sadness around them that hasn't been there in months.

"I'm glad to see you're well, Beatrice. I was worried."

"Downstairs is fine," she tells him. "I'm sorry to have worried you. It was an accident with the plothole. I ended up back in the city. I probably shouldn't have gone in so far but I didn't realise it could do that." She shakes her head. "Anyway, I'm fine. I came to make sure you were all right."

"Ah, yes. The plothole is what altered my memories." He isn't sure what to say about her worry for him. "I am so sorry you had to get involved in that. I was stupid."

She turns a little pale - she didn't realise it could do that, either. Definitely have to be more careful.

"I didn't have to get involved. I wanted to. You're my friend."
