She had another prediction.

As we have few information at hand, we have to rely on what we've got. This lull is a chance for us to regroup, which also means it's a chance to regroup for them. Since we've already established that we are aggressive against these things, they might as well attack. That's common information.

Basing on her prediction:

Negative. A layered defense is not the appropriate strategy.

What do you propose?

I propose having a light defense line in a circle and having a large group of reserves in the middle. If and when the attack starts, the reserves attack and break a hole in the enemy's line and roll up their flanks. If we keep a hole open, that will also leave an escape route in case of defeat.

Due to the formation, we have the advantage of inside lines. If our defense is penetrated anywhere, we can easily shift reinforcements. On the other hand, they will have a hard time shifting their reinforcements to respond to our tactics.

Our best defense is a good offense.

My military knowledge isn't as broad as a soldier's.

It's a commendable plan. If we do make a hole in their line, we could pour some forces into that gap and attack some of them from behind. But that would mean the greatest danger would fall on the initial defense line.

Hm, what if they use their ships' lasers?

We've a plan to break their ranks if it comes to that.

A diversion between two lesser than human. It's only temporary, but if this circle is indeed how they plan to attack, these two will slow them down.
