angst
a/n: the poem in here is one i wrote.
Bam was looking through some stuff on the floor for a clean pair of shorts when something fell out of the pile. It was a piece of paper, folded and stamped like some sort of royal document. Frowning in confusion, he opened it.
Bammie,
Falling, falling with broken wings,
The hidden eyass cannot be reached,
Safe haven gone, alone at the end,
I commend my soul to the gods.
Ville
P.S. I love you
Bam sat down abruptly, shocked at the revelation. He slowly reached for his cell and dialed Ville's number.
"We're sorry but this number has been disconnected."
He hung up and called Ville's cell, thinking maybe his phone bill hadn't been paid.
"We're sorry but this number has been disconnected."
As he hung up, he glanced down at the note in his hand, rereading the whole thing. Worried, he dug through the stuff in his nightstand before finding his address book on top of it. hurriedly he flipped to the l's and dialed Linde's number.
"Hei?" came the sleepy voice.
"Linde? It's Bam."
"Bam? What's up? Why are you calling me at....11:30at night?"
"Um, have you heard from Ville?"
"Not since we got off the plane a few hours ago, why?"
"I'm worried about him, his phones are both disconnected, he left me a note and...." Bam stopped unable to finish.
"Bam? Bam, what did the note say?"
"It was a poem and then he said... he said he loved me."
Linde sighed, frustrated.
"Bam, it is obviously not his declaration that has you worried, so tell me the poem."
"Falling, falling with broken wings,
The hidden eyass cannot be reached,
Safe haven gone, alone at the end,
I commend my soul to the gods."
Linde's eyes widened.
"Bam? I'll call you back." He hung up before Bam could protest.
He hurried out to his car and squealed out, leaving burned rubber on the pavement.
Bam alternately paced and sat on the bed chewing his nails. When Missy showed up to take him to yet another boring party put on by her stuffy parents, he screamed at her to fuck off and leave him alone. She replied that she wasn't going to put up with his bullshit and she was leaving him for good this time. He said he didn't care. She flipped him off and left.
Linde arrived at Ville's apartment and raced up the stairs not even bothering to close the car door or even turn off the car.
"Ville?" He yelled banging on the door. When no answer came, he reached up and felt over the door for the key that Ville left there "just in case." Finding it he unlocked the door and rushed inside. As he looked through each room, he pulled out his cell and called Bam.
"Linde?"
"Yeah, I'm at his apartment, I haven't found anything OH MY GOD!" Linde started babbling in Finnish.
"LINDE! English, please!"
"Bam, you better tell him what you want to quick, because I need to call an ambulance and you might not get another chance."
"Bammie?" Said a weak voice.
"Ville! Oh god, don't do this to me! Please, I need you to be all right, I-I love you!" Bam said shocking himself.
"I love you too Bammie. Goodbye."
"No!"
"Bam? I need to call the ambulance. I'll call you if there is any news."

"Today, two celebrities, Finnish rock star, Ville Valo and Pennsylvania's skateboard king, Bam Margera, were laid to rest in a special ceremony. Their ashes were poured into the Atlantic Ocean as friends and family each received a special token from each of them. The rest of Ville's band played the song Join me in Death, which they declared was the most appropriate. Rumors have spread of their deaths being a lover's suicide pact, but have so far been neither confirmed nor denied.
In other news...."
