To me the suspension that he was given was too tough. I know he was wrong to go into the stands but everybody has a breaking point. Now if they was just saying stuff to him and he did that, yes go ahead and suspend him. But the fan through a drink at him. That crosses the line. He should have gotten no more than 30 to 35 games. i agree that oneal should of gotten less. look at his past he has done alot of the community and is a stand up guy. he should of gotten less cause the fan was on the court.
artest was lucky. i dont know him or how he really is. but he is a goofy person that has problems. i mean look at his track record he should be banned for longer than a year. he better hop;e that his album sells alot cause i hope i never see him play again.

they should also punish the fans for there actions. banned from sports for life and fined just as much as the players. i bet there would be no more fans throwing things then.

I disagree with you on Artest. I think that he did what a lot of people would have done in that situation. I resepect Artest because he didn't let money change him. If he was broke, I think he would acted in the same manner. It is hard to say that you wouldn't do a thing like that. It doesn't take much to push people sometimes especially if you have things on your mind(like his album, nobody is going to buy that junk). Sometimes your dignity and respect trumps money.
