Drinking Bailey's: one partial pathway to temporary happiness! Mmmmmm.

I haven't met many unhappy drunks, really. Melancholy alcoholics were the worst of it, but that's possibly an entirely different category. Hmm. Aren't most people happy when inebriated?

Well, I have tended (at past gatherings) to get withdrawn, sulky, and bitter. And generally Not Fun. I'm not sure who to blame -- maybe I don't want to make an idiot out of myself in front of my friends? -- but I sort of go into my shell and generally don't behave in a friendly and fun manner. Yet, tonight was fantastic! Somehow! Maybe because even though I barely knew anyone, it was very low-key?

Further experimentation is clearly needed. :D

I'm going back to the office, but that night I might be free? But then I'm also working on the 27th.

Also, I need to talk to you about other break plans, as I might have to work straight through until the 3rd.
