There’s something of a déjà vu, when they crawl back in bed together, back into the path they had danced another time, in another century- or so it seems, for undead life and Azkaban have put the two of them in the position of revenants whose memories are not their anymore.
He sees the red of her cheeks and the hollow in her body as he rides her. She can feel, from time to time, familiar and unreal black hair under her skin as she kisses- the act itself surreal in the eyes of a beholder they both imagine (without confessing to their partner) catching them in the act.
It has to be something out of history and straight into mythology, the love of the God of Death for his Goddess, and vice-versa.
