Jump, Anachronism

Title: Jump
Character(s): Bellatrix Black/Lord Voldemort
Prompt: 3. Anachronism
Rating: G
Word Count: 131
Summary: Considering time.
Author's Notes: none

The presence of Horcruxes makes him naturally aware of bounds and rebounds of time. There’s not much one has to do to meed a younger version of himself, in the pages of a magical book, or in the shadows of an old, ornate mirror.

When he comes back it’s another slap in the face of Father Time- almost Freudianly he can’t keep himself from thinking about it in similar terms. He plunges the world back in their common past, and people can’t really understand that it’s him, the exception to the rule, the piece out of its bounds.

His love- if it’s love the feelings of his marred being- is a similar object, and it’s just her, Bellatrix, who can’t understand that he really feels like an incubus, suckling away time.
