But teaching about them had brought back memories. Had things gone the right way, he’d be able to tell them about the first time he had mastered them- quickly, precise, the way he had learnt his school lessons in those very halls he was burrowing into, in this insulting disguise. About the glory his sense felt, controlling this power...
He knew that the light in his eyes was bordering madness, was bordering exaltation.
But this is not for personal pleasure...
His words went back into the pantomime he was staging for the glory of the Dark Lord, forgetting the glory of his own past.
