You do not need to take chemistry to go to UNM. My sister didn't take it in high school, she just took Biology and Biology 2, no chemistry. So yes, you can attend UNM without taking chemisty.
I don't want to overload myself though, I could pry make the time to take the class, but ugh.. that would mean taking it Senior year at night school. CEC's Practical Nursing Program will cover Anatomy/Physiology and Biology 2. I'll most likely take Chem College, though. Plus, the Chem teacher at WM, Ugh.. Both of them seem to suck major butt.
I didn't like the chem teachers at West Mesa either. I just ended up taking Chem in the community with Mr. Nord. He is an excellent teacher and manages a fun and informative class. Chemistry in the Community counts as chemistry in college, it is just a more bio influenced chem instead of more math influenced.
