tonight i wanted to be pretty
i was alone all day. okayokayokay, i spent 20 minutes at 533 abbott... but other than that. just me, and these way-to-white walls of my empty, annoyingly spacious apartment. and tonight, not long ago, all i wanted was to look pretty. no one will see me until tomorrow, but i'm not worried about tomorrow. i wanted to look pretty tonight

do you know anybody there that you actually enjoy spending time with? sometimes one person can change everything.

i'm sorry you aren't in the right place. maybe a trip to e. lansing is in order? i pass it on my way to and from my dad's house.
keep your chin up. and even if you don't write down little things that make you happy, try to think about them. it seems stupid, but sometimes it can really help.

My friend Jes is at U of M, and she's having a hard time adjusting too. I swear you are not alone on this one! Everyone may seem like they are keeping their cool, but I bet at least half of them are having the same thoughts as you. It takes time to sort through all the college assholes to find some decent people. Give it some more time, and remember all the amazing people you will most likely meet in the future!
