My ring got here! It's so pretty! :) I don't have much else to talk about. It's been a pretty chill day. Oh yeah, I decided I want a tattoo. I want to get "Ames ♥" on my right hand ring finger, but I'm not 100% sure yet. Does anybody have a tattoo on their finger? Or know anyone that does? How well did it turn out?

I've talked to a few friends and they said that they don't hurt very much to get on a finger. I don't have any tattoos yet, so I want to start small. I think I'm going to talk to a couple tattoo artists, and if they don't recommend getting it on a finger, I'm thinking my wrist or behind my ear. :)

The ring is an anniversary gift from Ryan. :) I'm a bad fiance, I haven't gotten him anything yet, and our anniversary was January 3rd.. Lol We didn't really get to celebrate at the time because I was 40 1/2 weeks pregnant then.. Haha

i am told that "ring style" tattoos, going all around the finger, tend to fade a lot when it is first put in since the area is used so often and the skin regenerates so quickly

My friend Sierra has a "ring" tattoo. She said it only took 5-10 minutes to do, and was easy pain-wise, but that it will require more maintenance and touch ups over the years. She said the same thing, that they fade really quickly because of how much we use our hands.
