Ah, clarification. Yeah, I really have no interest in upgrading to Vista. Hey, at least you'll never have to hear it pronounced "veesta" again. God willing.
From what I've heard it works alright with everything that comes in the box when purchased from a big manufacturer. It's when you try to make a system from "vista compatible" parts that the real problem comes out.
It has been a long time since I've actually wished computers were capable of feeling pain so I could inflict it on them.
It's that I'm hearing complaints so much as I didn't hear a lot of early adopters from calls. When I buy a new box, fine, but I can wait until then. I do believe we discussed computers with nerve endings at one point. Oh, the legal and ethical issues...as well as well behaved computers.
