one.
Jiyong and Seungri have a very complicated relationship.
two.
“Wow, G-Dragon hyung! That was a really great comeback! You and T.O.P. hyung were daebak!”
Jiyong rolls his eyes and lightly punchs Seungri’s shoulder, “After all these years, Seungriya, why do you call me G-Dragon now?”
Seungri doesn’t reply, simply keeps the obnoxious grin on his face as he hugs Jiyong too tight, whispers a single word, “Cameras” and then bounces away to hug Seunghyun too tightly. Jiyong doesn’t miss a beat and beams as he decidedly avoids looking directly at the cameraman he hadn’t noticed filming them. Instead, he grins at Seunghyun ruffling Seungri’s hair and wonders how the younger man would act if they weren’t being flimed.
three.
Jiyong groans as the alarm clock goes off, and grips Seungri tighter. Mornings are the worse, with Seungri always waking up earlier then Jiyong. It makes him sometimes wish he didn’t sleep with the younger man. His head throbs and he buries it beneath Seungri’s arm and the pillow.
“Turn it off, please.”
Seungri laughs, and normally it would sound like music to Jiyong’s ears, however so early in the morning, it simply aggravates him. “No, hyung. I have to get up now, and I’ll make you breakfast. Just go back to sleep.”
Jiyong grumbles something unintelligent and burrows deeper into the blankets as Seungri wiggles his way out. It’s silent for some time, but just as he’s about to drift back into sleep, he hears pots and pans banging. He groans again and burrows deeper into the depth of the pillows and blankets.
He (fully) wakes up minutes later to Seungri climbing back in bed with him, and a cup of hot coffee on the bedside table.
four.
Seungri thinks that Jiyong has a smile to die for. And he prides himself in being one of the few people to witness his real smile, the one that spreads across his whole face, up to his eyes. Whenever he sees Jiyong’s smile, he can’t help but to smile back, genuine and pure.
But, sometimes Seungri hates Jiyong’s smile. Like when he’s telling him something serious and then he smiles and then he forgets why he was being serious in the first place.
“Hyung, please eat your vegetables. You’re sick and you need to get better.”
Jiyong smiles and Seungri suddenly realizes that it doesn’t matter that he won’t eat his vegetables because he always drinks orange juice anyways.
“Hyung, you didn’t bring your music notebook to the studio like you were supposed to.”
Jiyong smiles and Seungri suddenly realizes it doesn’t matter that he didn’t bring his notebook because he has the music flowing through his veins anyways.
“Hyung, I do so much for you, but you never do anything for me.”
Jiyong smiles, and Seungri suddenly realizes he wants to slap that beautiful smile off his face because it distracts him far too often.
five.
Jiyong and Seungri have a very complicated relationship.
Sometimes they are wonderful and full of love and promise and hope together, and other times they aren’t. Often times their personalities clash and things don’t work out the way they want them too.
six.
Seungri doesn’t see Jiyong for half the week. Jiyong starts his weekend early on Friday night and usually doesn’t come back until Sunday night. He’s usually seen texting and calling numerous models and producers and other people of high caliber on his way out the door on Friday, and then that’s it. Seungri doesn’t see or hear anything from him until Sunday night, if he’s lucky. More than once, Jiyong has come in stumbling on Monday morning with bags under his eyes and the smell of smoke on his clothes. He typically spends his Mondays recuperating from his weekend, and his week doesn’t really start until Tuesday. The only problem with that is Tuesday is Jiyong’s Monday, and so it’s still impossible for Seungri to get a coherent reply out of him the whole day.
Sometimes, Seungri is tempted to just leave for a day - a day that Jiyong is actually there - just to see if he would be missed.
seven.
It could quite possibly be the most (second most, at least) important day of Seungri’s life: his solo comeback stage.
He waits patiently as his hair is being styled, palms slightly sweaty because Jiyong hasn’t shown up yet and he’s set to record in less than an hour. He argues with himself against texting him and asking where he is on the basis that Jiyong would let him know if he wasn’t going to show up.
“Aw, that’s so sad. I hope Jiyongie feels better,” he hears one of the coordinator noonas croon. “He overworks himself so much. It’s a shame he’s too sick to make it today.”
Seungri’s heart promptly falls to the ground. Of course he wouldn’t text him and let him know he wasn’t coming, of course. He’s too sick to let him know, too tired to call him. He shouldn’t be angry about it.
But he is.
eight.
Jiyong groans as the alarm clock goes off. Despite sleeping in his own room for the first time in months, he can still hear Seungri’s alarm clock across the hall. He throws his pillow at the door in a vain and pointless attempt to quiet the grating ringing, but nothing happens.
Relatively soon, the alarm goes off and Jiyong counts the minutes in his mind; waiting for the pots and pans to begin banging in the kitchen as Seungri inevitably attempts to cook breakfast. He never hears anything and eventually falls back asleep.
He wakes up hours later to an empty stomach and a cold bed.

Maybe, in some other place at some other time, just maybe they would fall in love together - the right way. Maybe Jiyong would spend all his time with Seungri and maybe Seungri wouldn’t get jealous about the times they were apart. Maybe they would just love each other the way couples are meant to love each other. Maybe the would fall in love together the right way.
ten.
“You know, I love you.”
“I’m sure you do, hyung.”
“I really do.”
“If you say so, hyung.”
“Say you love me too.”
“I love you too, hyung.”
“Say it like you mean it.”
“I don’t know if I can do that, hyung.”
“Just try, for me.”
“I love you, hyung. I really do.”
