I remember that when I posted this, I was in an inspired mood. I wrote a long spiel stating exactly why New Year's is my favorite holiday. Then LJ ate it. Then I was not in a good mood. To save my mood, I made a short sweet post in its place. The short reason why New Year's is my favorite holiday is because it's a time of renewal, a celebration of life, and because the object of the holiday is the pure possibility and hope of the new year. Plus everybody gets happy and drunk and explodes stuff to watch it arrive :)
