Do you live in Texas or LA?

My friend and I researched it a little, supposedly they never caught the guy. But, he did kill people and cut their faces off. He was known as "Leather Face". :/ Bleh.

My grandparents used to tell me that story when I was little, and they beleive its true. I've been taken on that highway and it gives me the creepiez.

naw man dont go through the internet if u must... look up every archive on texas and u wont find it n e where not to mention if it had happened people would have known about it prior to the film ... there would have been controversy on wether or not to release the film since its "based on a true story" and all that jazz. supposedly there was a doctor in texas who skinned some of his patients or some trash like that im not sure but no chainsaw.. no crazy killer.. but its fun i guess to think its real... and i live in texas by the way

I don't know if it is honestly true, it's just I've been brought up by parents and family that have always believed it to be true. There wasn't ever any doubt, so its strange to meet someone who totally opposes it.

I think I'm going to try to search the archives to find out for myself. I asked my dad if it was true, he said "It's supposed to be." But, my TX-family is positive it is. I guess I will take research to the archives.

:P Bleh, maybe it is, maybe it isn't. I wonder, though.

i read somewhere that it was about these canibals that lived in some trailer up in like loiusianna or something like that, and these religious people came to their trailer and whatever and they died or something. my memory of it is pretty vague i read it somewhere around 1 or 2 years ago
