Day of no real significance

Feb 06, 2005 23:20

It appears that another three month has passed. With my time dedicated almost exclusively to school livejournal has been less and less of a priority. I apologize to everyone whose journal I've neglected to sign or read, I'll be catching up on them soon, at least I hope ( Read more... )

You do need to catch up on your comments. You've been neglecting mine forever. I was almost considering learning how to program comments and moving my entire journal to a website... Then I got lazy.

I think you should grow your hair longer so when you and I play Dance Dance Revolution, your hair is be bouncing up and down like mine.

Your parking ambassador,
xx melissa.

Alright.

The hair? I don't know. I mean, it's your decision. I usually just grow mine out until my parents complain, and then I go to "hair studio 55" on Granville and tell them to "do something, I don't care what". But I only go when I really start to hate my hair. If you're not looking to cut it, then don't cut it.

Laser bowl is fun. That was a great grouping of people. I love when random groups like that work out. We'll have to go out like that again someday. Maybe if I get a new job, we can do it on a thursday night.

Borothon was great. I was kind of sad when (insert movie here) ended and I realized that everyone else had slept through it. Mind you, I felt better about being the only person to giggle like an idiot throughout the whole thing. Hugh Laurie is my hero.

I love drawn out death scenes. Have I not told you this? Yes. I love overly dramatic drawn out death scenes. Not Lord of the Rings "let's put this in slow motion and hit him with 50 million arrows and give him a speech as he's going down" death ( ... )

Go out and play pool and bowl? I'm in. That really was fun, I remember the minute we stepped into the disco bowling place the music turned to avril lavigne as if on cue.

Apologies for sleeping through (insert movie here) (...fill this in please will ya?) That was a pretty good borathon indeed. Thanks for coming.

I think you'll like Hero. They have alternate scenarios where people die over and over in different situations.

The line in the testimonial is brilliant. Almost make sympathy money seem like purchasing a friend though.

(insert movie here) was season 1, episode 1 of Jeves and Wooster with Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie.

Itès something you should probably be subjected to at some point in your life.

Damn, I hate french keyboards. èÈéÉà

I'm surprised that you actually look at the junk I put on this site.

To clarify, my whole thing about capitalism wasn't a comment about you or anyone, nor do I mean any disrespect towards you or the choices you make.

I think you covered the whole topic pretty well, I can't think of anything new to add. The way I see it though, there is no getting away from being used in shitty ways, that is how society works; social-economic pressures always win in the end.

You know, the way you spoke about advertising, kinda makes me want to become an advertisement designer. Actually, maybe you should be one, then you'll be able to control the behavior of your inferior beings.

Thanks for reading my rants, by the way. Maybe you should update once in awhile.

FUCK! Tony, the hair, the hair is an important feature. I'd try and give you hundreds of ideas right now, but I really need to see an up to date version of your hair just to be safe. And Im sure its just probably half an inch longer than the last time I saw it, but still half an inch is of big time importance ( ... )

The hair has been destroyed, sorry, it was pressure from a few people that made me cave.

Hehe, lovefest romantic dramedies, you're right that is a totally new concept for borathon movies. I don't think I should hold them more than twice a year, since that would reduce the special aura surrounding the event and will result in lower turnout rates.(I barely made enough attendance this time as it is)

I know, those were really great days weren't they? Scary Movie, American Pie, Not another teen movie....I can go on and on. I suppose you gotta try new things at some point.

I am going to be, ahem, am a capitalist consumer whore. I'm not really proud of it but it's true.

I know exactly how you feel about hair. I feel that I am constantly trying to keep up to date on how to style my hair and keep up with its growth. And the fact that this happens over a long period of time makes the decision to cut it off harder. I also dislike how it can cost up to 20$ plus tip to do it. It's a shame that 20$ still seems like a lot in this day and age.

For the millionth time, I am sorry I pulled a no-show at your Borothon

You seem to enjoy those "success" pics. I remember the one with the chess pieces. It may not have said success but something along those lines
