The District Sleeps Alone Tonight

I'm back from DC, safe and sound and a little wiser.

The trip didn't start well. After checking in for my flight I realized that accidentally left my camera, it's charger and the charger for my laptop and phone, which I primarily use for travel, on my bedroom floor.  (This was following the night I left my bike helmet at the library and water bottle ( Read more... )

It's so good to hear that you're discovering your "voice" as a U.S. citizen. As a former Congressional staff person and current speaker / trainer on effective advocacy I am forever trying to convince people that they really can make a difference with their elected officials. You're living proof!
