Fables and Sorted Thoughts

One of Aesop's famous fables was about reeds and an oak tree that grew along the same river. The reeds were small, inconsequential. The oak was tall and lovely. In short, when a violent storm came the oak cracked, splintered, and fell, ending it's glorious life. The reeds just swished on like they always had, unharmed.

Laura dear, Beautiful fable. We as humans only have the ability and the know how to change ourselves and our decisions. Neal can't come up to me and say Zach your habits are hurting you. I will go into your brain and change your decisions for you. No, thats not how it works. We and the HG (Holy Ghost/Spirit)have the ability to influence people. If we are hoping to revolutionize the world that is Bogus. We through God have the ability to do amazing things greater than Jesus while he was on earth. All throughout Jesus's teachings he taught of things that were small and a minority. Mustard Seeds, Paths less traveled (not free-ways), even Jesus was thought of as just an insignificant jew coming in on a donkey. The "Big Deals" at the time thought of him as little and insignificant. The bible is full of little things that made big differences. Hope that helps, Live Simply, Zach
