cigarette in the cold

I just went outside to smoke and things felt so odd. It was the first hint of actual cold i have felt in so long. I came back in to grab my hoodie that hasn't moved from it's place on the closet door in months. I went back out and things felt so different but all the same as before. [I couldn't tell where the smoke stopped and my breath started]
