Yesterday was spent sleeping, followed by manniqueen_'s celebration of becoming OLD. We started in the Pit for cocktails and food, then the Rescue Rooms, finally the Speak Easy, where we saw many random people, including Alex and Frankie, Lisa 'who likes Waterdown' and little Fran (who, having just graduated, made me feel very old indeed). Well, looks like the time at Pipex is drawing to a close. Come March the Notts office is shutting and moving to Stockwell Park near Heathrow. Now I've fancied London for the last six months or so, but they wouldn't pay me nearly enough to move, so here's hoping for a decent redundancy package ( Read more... )
