takebackfiction yeah they have a ton i want to punch someone i understand it really but it's how my dad died and i'm sick of reading about it and being reminded maybe i'm just being too dramatic

like i understand why it's a common fic death because it is a 'dramatic, tragic' death and an easy way to end a fic but seriously it does get old after awhile

i'd say i'm sorry only i know that's not what you want to hear, my dad died of a heart attack when i was 8 and i never know how to respond when people tell me they're sorry, it's like "dude it's not your fault don't be sorry" =\

And people need to stop the suicide/close to suicide fics, too. There are too many. Fanfic just keeps getting worse and worse. I stayed away from it for about four months, then last weekend I decided to check out all the various John/Adam/Jesse fanfic communities and some random ones. I found very few good stories. Maybe I'm being elitist and I'm all "Hah, I'm going to school to be a writer!", but seriously, some of those kids cannot write to save their lives.
