lightning strikes in antigua

well, it took me 6 years to get here, and now i might not ever leave. antigua is enchanting. i am using the computer lab at my school, which overlooks one of the three volacanoes that surround antigua. i just saw a dim flash of lightning in the clouds. i am really happy with my choice of schools, not just because of the birdseye view of the volcano

anyway, i am so happy that you are digging antigua and don't think it is too touristy. i'm glad you made it to doña louisa's cafe. i forgot to also recommend finding the pupusa ladies at the market over by the bus depot - they have a quasi-permanent setup over there and you can get these pupusas loaded with guacamole and cabbage. yum. oh and that's where you can buy those ricebag shopping bags as well, which i think are pretty awesome.

Oh man! I am super jealous, and I have never had any desire to go to Antigua... :) I'm glad that you are enjoying things, I'm glad it is a pretty as you hoped, I'm glad that after 6 long years you are finially there! But... You must come back. With pictures. :)
