last night i had so much fun. i actually mixed friends! and by that i mean i invited people to the party and didnt worry about whether all my different friends would get along. well, to be fair, enough of them came that i don't think there was much mixing going on. but for me it was perfect because i got to go from friend to friend and not worry.

darn! i was so close to calling and seeing if i could come stay with you last night. still want to come see you if you don't have other plans for your birthday. you are having what i see as the perfect happy medium college experience, and i envy and love and miss you and am SO glad you are happy because i can think of no one else but you who deserves it, because you are the one who most appreciates it. <3
