(no subject)
i've been dreaming about cats a lot lately. i dreamed i had to get four cats from a nice lady's backyard, a black, a white, an orange and a grey one. they we really cute, lol. they kept getting just out of arms reach though, so i couldn't catch them.
then i had that elevator dream. we were getting a new black cat, but we never got it.
Cat
To see a cat in your dream, signifies much misfortune, treachery, and bad luck.
However, for the cat lover, cats signifies an independent spirit, feminine sexuality, creativity, and power. (i wish i still had most of these qualities.)
You may be expressing some fear or frustration especially when something is not going as planned. (things rarely go as i expect them to. i have unreasonably high expectations and it's so annoying to be disappointed all of the time.)
To dream that you chase the cat away, signifies that you will overcome your obstacles. (i never got any of the cats, so i guess this counts as chasing them away.)
To see a white cat in your dream, denotes that you are going through difficult times. If you see a black cat in your dream, then it indicates that you are experiencing some fear in using your psychic abilities and believing in your intuition.
Elevator
To dream that the elevator is out of order or that it is not letting you off, symbolizes that your emotions have gotten out of control. (omg. i couldn't stop crying last night and it was stupid because nothing even happened.)
To dream that an elevator is falling out of control, refers to your fears of letting go. You may also be expressing your desire to give up and escape from some demanding situation. If the elevator stops just right before it crashes, then it indicates that if you hang on long enough, everything will turn out all fine in the end. (oh thank god. i feel a lot better now about everything. really.)
