Art Dump!
This is my first Art Dump here are YK. I'm sure it will be a post that I will look back upon in the coming months and think, "..what the hell was I thinking?!" Just the way it goes with these early designs.
After the Time Jump, after the setting shift from Konohagakure to Sunagakure, I was trying to design Ichigo a new outfit. It never happened. This was like..his inbetween outfits outfit, since he wasn't going to run around naked. Ichigo hates it when people run around naked. He's a got such a pure soul.
I find the anatomy on this mildly frightening.
Ichigo's intial YK design. I really, really hate it. The mullet is just too much and the outfit doesn't suit him at all. It's mostly the coloring I had issues with, but its not like I ever bothered to color any of the drawings of it, anyway.
Ichigo (in the horrible outfit, but with the blessed haircut) explains that some perfectly reasonable thing is most likely bullshit.
Based on a chat! *_* But still minus any other characters.. ;_; Raikou has brought up the perfectly reasonable point that he can't look out for everyone; he WILL abandon people, or even forget about them entirely. Later, he morosely askes Michiru if he's ever done so.
Ichigo's new and much better outfit! I didn't want to color it, so I had Ruthi color it, but then her scanner killed all the lines and made them hard to see or randomly blue, so I printed it out and re-traced all the lines in marker and then scanned it again. So you better love it! I did all of this for you! But it was really for me!
And now for those non-Ichigo people!
Raikou! Um..its hard to draw the bill of a cap. It looks crooked. And also, I really can't take just drawing lines for mouths anymore. People have to have lips.
Toyomo! I really like this one.
Hakusen! Oh, that Hakusen. Today, his eyes have been modeled after Sasori. I think that's a good look for him. Feminine, but not girl eyes.
Michiru! She has a lot of hair and very tiny eyes here. I wanted her to have a glowy ball of healing chakra, but it wasn't happening.
And that's the end! Maybe someday I will get around to having more than one character in a picture! Or coloring something myself.
But probably not.
