Wow
Wow, Glee is just blowing me away the last couple of weeks. The beginning of the season was a little weak (as usual) but they're in their stride now and everyone is just amazing. I'm not going to do a scene-by-scene but, thoughts:
- Finntana! I'm loving it as a friendship and I'm glad to see the rift closing some between the two groups. The girls had legitimate reasons for leaving, but that doesn't mean they're not friends with their friends anymore. So, this was nice.
- Every time I think I'm over-sugaring scenes between Kurt and Blaine, they get up and prove that I'm toning it down, if anything. Singing together in the car? Too cute. *smooches*
- Um, Blaine, this is supposed to be singing to Santana, maybe you could look at her occassionally instead of staring adoringly at Kurt all the...nevermind. As you were ;D
- Bored with Puck/Shelby already. I do like Puck getting his shit together and I think they work well in looking after Beth, but as a couple? I'm actually more inclined to ship Shelby/Will.
- That said, damn, but Puck killed me with that song. Sex on legs.
- Rachel...I have no words. Apparently you need a seeing-eye dog because you continue to be completely blind to consequences. I did love her putting in too many. It was so...Rachel, to be ott about it.
- Why do I think Blaine was involved in the girls' choice of song? XD
- Loved that all the other guys were totally shell-shocked by the "Kissed" performance (seriously, Rory looked like MIND. BLOWN.) but Kurt and Blaine were just taking photos :D
- Finn. Oh my god. What are you trying to do to me? Adorkable, supportive, caring, and THAT SONG. *melts*
- Puck/Smart Choices FTW! Love him finally understanding the full extent of his affect on Quinn. I really hope she sorts herself out this year.
- Hudmels! Burt winning! Poor Kurt *sends Blaine to hug him*
- Why was Sugar touching Rory all ep?
- Blaine's wardrobe was borderline sedate this ep *approves*. Either Kurt's been having a quiet word or Blaine took home his "Tony" wardrobe.
- Kurt's wardrobe on the other hand...O_o
- Poor Beiste. Bad Cooter! LITERALLY SLEEPING WITH THE ENEMY! Loved Jolene, though.
- Okay, so, does this mean neither Kurt or Rachel are going to NYADA this year?
First ep this season where I downloaded EVERY song. Woot.
