It's really one of the best things. My parents used to read it to me when I was little and I saw a really good stage adaption of it a few years ago, but I had never sat down and actually read the book myself, so that was a lot of fun to do.

p.s. - completely stealing that gif.

I jus love all the metaphors and Antoine's drawings. I think it's the only book I own in four different languages (one of which I don't even speak), because I can't not buy it if I see it somewhere.

heh, your scrapbook is so much prettier, though, and I am just like HOW DO YOU PRETTY. I spend way too much time reading, and also this list looks way better than it actually is in reality, because one of the books I listened to as an audiobook and another is an interactive ipad book about outer space that I'm pretty sure is for kids (even though it's really long and wordy and I wouldn't have been able to comprehend it as a child). and then one is the little prince which is also a kid's book and super short. oh, and one is light novel that was translated from japanese into really super basic english.

so, mostly i am a giant cheater?

wow, that list is really impressive! Especially, that you managed to read, watch AND write this much O.O

And I very much second the 1/1/13 comment x'D
My 1/1/11 was similar to this, ehehehe. And since then I avoid drinking around people x'D I'm pretty fine with a glass of wine, or two/three cocktails (depending how strong it is - but I usually drink stuff with way more juice than anything else *lol*) and I can write rather well then (Hemmingway has his point: not being 100% sober really tames my inner critic, which is my main problem writing x'D) - but as soon as it gets more, it gets dangerous (and here, drinking with people usually peer pressures you into having way more than three drinks ...)

Ha, well I'm blessed with a metric fuck-ton of free time. also, the wip which is listed as 50k (well, it's actually more like 90k at this point, but I'm just listing what's been posted) is something I started in October. There's no way I could do all that in just the last month.

oh god, I know exactly what you mean. I am a terrible drunk and have absolutely no impulse control, so I will just keep drinking and drinking. The worst thing that happens is I giggle, fall down a lot, and generally feel like the hell twice-over the next day. thankfully, I drink pretty rarely.

still, impressive I'd say! I hardly ever manage to write something this long at all x'D

Yeah, I really rarely drink too for that reason, since if I do, once I have gone over a certain point all control is lost and I don't stop drinking until a) there is no booze anymore/Party is over b) I either pass out, throw up or both x'D I get really tipsy, too, and I get personal space issues (like I randomly hug people and get very touchy). And I start crying a lot x'D

How the fuck do you read so fast since this year I've only read How to Kill a Mockingbird, Alice in Wonderland right now in at the fourth or fifth chapter of Pride and Prejudice? Also some Malay book on Cleopatra, but like. Malay. I suck.

AND LIZZIE BENNET DIARIES YES I'VE BEEN MEANING TO WATCH THAT

gbsahfmjkjl YES. It took me a while to get into it (probably because I listened to Theatre is Evil first, which is a lot different in tone) but then suddenly I was listening to nothing else and alternately crying/laughing/dancing with glee. And Oasis has been stuck in my head for the last month at least.
