Suddenly I am gripped by an urge to commit to making LiveJournal awesome again. This happens every so often and I feel like I am being nostalgic for a Golden Age that (like all golden ages?) never actually happened. But I'm here again and that's something, I suppose.

It sucks when everyone just sort of... drifts away. I'm making a small but concerted effort to find new people to add as well, though. I've felt for a long time like a fan without a particular fandom, but that can change when the right group of people comes together and you're all excited about the same thing.

Hey :)

It's always good to see people coming back here. It's certainly been a little quiet recently. We've not really spoken much so I'm looking forward to reading what you have to say :)

I actually gave Damages a try but stopped at episode 7 or 8. I don't do all that way with series where every single character is entirely reprehensible, which is how I saw the characters in Damages. Glenn Close was certainly excellent in the role of the evil lawyer, though.

I saw the film of The Last Picture show back in the 80s. It was as depressing as the book sounds!

Yes, I don't know if my actual ability to deal with everyone being double-crossing is as high as I think it is. We'll see...
